Four Rail Cars Unearthed

A contractor unearthed four rail cars at the former Chamberlain Manufacturing Company site during the removal of concrete slabs and footings. Three of the cars had a capacity of 7,500 gallons while the remaining car had a capacity of 10,500-gallons. The City purchased a vacant 2-story commercial structure located along the Cedar River at 801-805 Commercial Street.
