A contractor unearthed four rail cars at the former Chamberlain Manufacturing Company site during the removal of concrete slabs and footings. Three of the cars had a capacity of 7,500 gallons while the remaining car had a capacity of 10,500-gallons. Chamberlain Manufacturing, now a division of Duchossois Industries Inc., of Elmhurst, Ill., has agreed to pay for the removal and disposal of the tanks. Historical records indicate the former operator property cleaned and closed the tanks.
